Tree Trimming and Right of Way Clearance

Asplundh Tree Expert Company is contracted with the PUD for tree trimming and line clearance on our transmission and distribution systems.  For 2008, there are two Asplundh crews working in the PUD’s service area.  The North Crew is currently trimming trees in the Loomis/Palmer Lake area and will also be trimming the city of Oroville soon.  The South Crew is now trimming trees in Twisp/Carlton area, and will soon be trimming in the Twisp River/Poor Man Creek areas.  We look forward to a safe and productive year for tree trimming and right of way clearance in 2008.

Below are some pictures of the North and South Tree Trimming Crews at work. The picture of the North crew is of the crew clearing lines on Highway 97 North. The picture of the South crew is of the crew clearing hazard trees in Twisp.

The Okanogan County PUD would like to thank all of its customers for their cooperation and understanding in helping make our tree trimming process a safe and successful one.  For information or questions about tree trimming or tree/conductor conflicts, please contact Right-of-Way Superintendent Roy Schwilke at the Okanogan County PUD at 422-8473 or email at roys@okpud.org
